In this project for my Projection Mapping class, my team (Vincent Madison, Ceciley Mason, and I) was tasked with creating a narrative related to our experience with studying abroad in France, and translating it to visuals with the use of four separate planes. Our resulting concept is one that centers on the sights of our base town in France - Lacoste, showing off the architecture and nature of the town and its surroundings with stylized photographs. To give this appreciation of the town some life, though, we created the octahedron character, to symbolize how foreign we felt to a place like this, but how appreciative we were nonetheless.
